Based on actual events in the 1910s, this drama-filled limited series unveils the corruption, money, politics and power used by a wealthy family to imprison an innocent man and replace their missing son with the child of an impoverished single mother.

This true-crime murder mystery set in 1930s Laurel, MS., revolves around what became known as "The Legs Murder Scandal." In it, a troubled young woman was not only found guilty of the killing and dismemberment of her mother, but  she also implicated her former boss and lover in the crime.
